So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where were you able to get your pair?

I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a solid deal going on.

Placed my order on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast .

How expensive are they?

When I bought my pair in April, I paid $385.43, but their golden goose shoes standard price is around $514.

These sneakers typically range from $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.

How does the sizing run?

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.

They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up

Are they comfortable?

They required minimal break-in time..

How do they perform over time?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.

Would you recommend them?

Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.
